Pontiac Repair: 1992 Bonnenville SSE Transmision Fluid Leak, vacuum modulator, engine vacuum

Question
In the last 4 months I added over a quart of transmission fluid on two different occasions approximately two months apart. I can not see a leak spot on the same parking space I always park my car. CAN I BEEN LOSING TRANSMISSION FLUID ONLY WHEN CAR IS BEING DRIVEN? Where could this leak take place?

Answer
Hi Michael:
If you do not see it on the grounf and you look under the car and it's not dripping on the ground then it is possible that a component on that transmission called a vacuum modulator may be bad it controls the shifty feel and quaility on that transmission on rare occasions the diaphram in them will rupture and the engine vacuum will pull transmission fluid out of the transmission and burn it in the engine. That is the only other place it can go if it's not laking onto the ground. Good luck :}
