Pontiac Repair: 1996 Grand am GT 3.1L leak on Passanger side, manifold gaskets, grand am gt

Question
Hi i have a coolant leak on the passenger side dripping it does not look like its coming from the water pump? do you think it might be coming from the freeze plugs?

Hey Chris.

it can be a lot of things. freeze plugs are at the bottom of the possibility list. if not the watre pump then either lower intake manifold gaskets or a head gasket. you could alos have a heater core leaking and it runnout out the hvac drain hole but you would have a very strong smell inside the car if that were the case. it could be a radiator or hose also. freeze plugs on  these engines do not got all that often. good luck :}
