Pontiac Repair: buzzing sound, pontiac transport, hi tim

Hi, I have a 1997 Pontiac Transport minivan.  Today, when I put into gear (any gear) a buzzing sound started from the passenger rear of the van.  I have know idea what this can be.  The buzzing sounded like an alarm.  Any suggestions?

Hi Tim:

does this van have the automatic sliding door option? if so the door is either not closed all the way or there is an issue with the door controls. The most common thing with the auto door is the metal contacts on the door and the pillar that the door closes on the contacts corrode and cause the door controler not to see that the door is closed properly. That is my only guess at this point. good luck :}
