Pontiac Repair: Power locks, loop connections, plastic loop

Question
Hi again, tried to do this as a followup, but the site said there were too many follow ups. So, We lost the remotes long ago (the plastic loop connections broke and we never got them fixed). As for the chime sound, no, there is no sound at all when the lock switch is pressed. The only tme the power lock part works is when the automatic transmission is shifted from park to reverse, drive, etc.

Answer
Okay so heres the scoop now The body control computer has the ability to lock the doors as mentioned with the auto door locks working when put in gear so all the control side of the locks works. try this remove the door lock switch from the door and unplug the switch. use a paper clip and jump the black wire to the light blue wire and see in the doors lock. If they do you have bad switches. If not then you have an issuse where either the body control module is not getting that siganl (broken /corroded wire somewhere or the body control module is not recognising the siganl it's getting and will not lock the doors.
