Pontiac Repair: oil leak, power steering fluid, head gaskets

Question
i have found a oil leak on my 1997 bonneville and no matter what i do it still leaks. i have changed out the oil pan, head gaskets, fuel pump, and a few other things including the oil filter but it still leaks. what else can i do to get this problem corrected?

Answer
Hi
My best advice would be to FIRST make sure it is engine oil, and not Power steering fluid or transmission oil.
IF you determine for sure it is engine oil, I  would then get a bottle of Engine Oil dye and add it to the oil.
Then THROUGHLY clean the entire engine area. Run the engine until it starts to leak. The dye will make the oil flourscent with a black light. You MAY want to have this done at a shop?

I hope this helps
Good luck
