Pontiac Repair: 2000 Pontiac Sunfire, pontias, three wheels

Question
I've changed the rear cylinders and brake shoes on my 2000 Pontias Sunfire but the rear right wheel still locks up when I use the breaks. The other three wheels work fine.

Answer
Hi Raul:
It can be a few things does this car have anti-lock brakes. You could have some sort of an ABS issue. Does it do it on ever stop or just the first few in the AM?? Did you get all the air out of the system when you bled the brakes? Was it doing this before you changed the cylinders and shoes? Did you use factory brake shoes or aftermarket shoes? How do the drums look on the inside is the surface smooth. Take the drum off both sides and comapir the way they are put together do you have the primary and seconday shoes reversed on the one side? depending on the type of brakes you bought the larger shoe goes towards the rear and the smaller shoe is in the front. Just a few things to double check. Good luck :)
