Pontiac Repair: 98 Transport Termostat, coolant level, gm service


Question
I am sure my thermostat is gone, and it looks like a real difficult job to replace it, Where and how can i get some intructions on the internet. I think the trottle body has to be removed, am i right?

Here is the EXACT instructions from GM Service.

Remove the air cleaner and duct assembly.  
Drain the coolant until the coolant level is below the thermostat.  
Remove the crossover exhaust pipe.  
Remove the radiator hose from the thermostat housing.
Remove the thermostat housing bolts and clean any sealer from the bolt threads.
Remove the thermostat housing and gasket.
Remove the thermostat.
Clean the mating surfaces.
