Pontiac Repair: 2003 Grand Am Front Brakes, brake caliper, brake hoses

Question
I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am that is having serious front brake issues. The brake pads had been wearing down extreamly quickly, and we had also noticed a "burning" smell coming from the front brakes. We replaced almost the entire braking system, (Master Cyl., Calipers, Roters, Pads, etc. The only things we didnt replace were the lines and the booster). And noticed that the roters were getting extremely hot. After about 200 miles, the burning smell has returned. Do you have any idea what may be causing the roters (and pads) to be getting so hot and creating a burning smell?

Answer
Hi
MAKE REALLY sure the pads are in the proper location.
All 4 pads are different for these years and if they are installed in the wrong place, they will stick.
Here is the EXACT procedure for Garnd Am

Important: When installing front brake pads, the pad with the wear indicator must be installed in the inboard position against the piston in the brake caliper. When properly installed, the wear indicator will point upward with the caliper installed on the car.

If this is OK< then I would check the front brake hoses.
I hope this helps
