Pontiac Repair: 93 pontiac transport se, blown fuses, pontiac transport

Question
My transport has recently started slowing down on any hills. It started having explosive backfires and trouble starting without backfiring. It drove home yesterday and then went dead in the driveway. I checked for gas at the TBI and found no gas flow. It has gas reaching the TBI unit but nothing flows into the plenum. It had a carb fire at some time because the wires are slightly melted. Prior to this it seemed to have a slightly rough idle. Is it the Ignition control module or something else. Need to know soon as my job is at jeopardy because I can't get there.

Answer
Hey Daryl:

Sorry to hear that didn't work out for you But it's hard to properly diagnose it over the Internet. If that didn't fix it then the next best "guess" is the ECM make sure all the grounds and clean and tight and that you have no blown fuses. A scan tool would be extremely helpful you could have a sensor that's skewed that making the ECM shut down the injector. Not likely but a possibility. Once again sorry and next time try to give me a better rating. I'm here to try to help you out it's the least you can do is rate my fairly.
