Nissan Repair: Nissan Sunny.Gearbox feeling a bit notchy/dry, milege, gearbox

Hello Sir, I have a 1992 Sunny saloon 1.4LX with 136,000 miles on the clock. Recently the gearbox feels a bit notchy/dry. Should I put in gearbox oil?Where do I find the plug for this? Thanks very much for your great work here.PS whats the top milege for this car?

Change the gearbox oil to synthetic and that will get rid of harsh shift feel.  The fill plug is on the side of the case and the drain is on the bottom.  Look for a half inch socket plug and use an extension to remove it.  Replace the bottom plug and then remove the side one and fill until the fluid starts to come out of the hole.  Reinstall the plug and you are done.
