Pontiac Repair: 1994 Bonneville turn signal hanging loose, turn signal switch, pontiac bonneville

Question
My 1994 Pontiac Bonneville turn signal came loose where it connects to the steering column.  The wires are still connected and the wiper controls work, but the arm of the turn signal doesn't move whatever it's connected to to make the turn signals work. I think I see a hole for a screw, but no screw.  What can I do?

Answer
Hey Joe:

Their is not much you can do your self. The top of the steering column has to be dis assembled and that arm has to be re connected to the turn signal switch. It does happen from time to time. The wires you see hanging there are for the cruise control part of the switch. This should be done by a trained professional due to the car being equipped with an air bag in the steering column. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(
