Hello.

I'm really not a transmission expert I have that posted in my profile. I can tell you this that transmission is electronically controlled. You may not have a transmission issue it could be something else that's effecting the transmission.. First off check the fluid level and condition. If the fluid is low it will cause all kinds of issues and eventually the low level will burn up the transmission. If the fluid is a bight brown to a reddish color good. black or it has a burnt smell bad.. I can't really give you a good answer on this sorry :( I would find a reputable transmission shop or even a GM dealer to get it figured out. Transmission repairs can get VERY expensive. The parts for the most of the parts are pretty cheap it's the labor that gets you. Good luck :)
