Pontiac Repair: radio in 2001 grand am, antenna cable, radio problem

Thanks for looking at this. My AM Radio seems to only pick up 1 station clearly and the rest are very staticy. My FM stations on this radio are just fine. Any ideas ?

The most likely cause would be either the antenna, antenna grounding or the antenna cable to the radio.
I honestly do not think you have a radio problem, just an antenna problem.
Your vehicle MAY have the antenna integrated into the rear glass. So the tabs where the rear glass/heated rear glass attatches to the wiring should be checked for breakage.
