Pontiac Repair: Oil Pressure Switch, oil pressure switch, fuel pump

Hey, 91 sunbird le 2.0. Fuel pump blew fuse tracked it down to Oil Pressure Switch cut off in fuel pump wire digram. Cant get enough leverage to remove sending unit (lock tight Grrrr) sending unit removal tool to long to fit because of the eng mount bolt in the way(tryed long and short tool 3.5 inch long) So does the nut on the oil filter and sending unit housing remove the whole assembly? And does the assembly have a spline or seat to position the housing in the corect position after I replace the sending unit?

I cannot find any info on this and it has been SO long since I saw one of these engines, I hate to tell you one way or the other.
My suggestion is to post to the other Pontiac expert or try to find a service manual.
