QUESTION: yea the molding starts on the fender goes through the door panel, quarterpanel, the back fasia, the other quarterpanel, the other door panel, then ends on the other fender. i talked to an advance auto parts guy and he said to spot weld it then grind it down then put the filler on.bt my car's body is not metal so that would not apply to me. note:throughout the place that i want to put the filler there are some small holes where the fasteners go. size: top to ottom it is about1 1/2 inches. in depth it is about 1/4 inch

Answer
ok if this is right you are wanting to remove all the body side mldgs... ok normally on all metal parts you would remove the trim most anymore are just glues with double sided tape, you can take a thin wire, we use fine mid welder wire and slice it off real easy, you can start at an end and use a sharp putty knife, then usesolvent to remove the glue residue. anyway after the mlgs are removed grind a small area around the wholes to be filled, if its metal weld them up and then grind them and fill with body filler, on your can its non metal, you can grind a small area around the hole and use a two part epoxy, ask the parts store what they have to do this at there stre we use a fusor company products its a 120 fuzor to fill sand and prime and then paint. i hope im helping  but you have to use the right product for the material you are working with, plastic, fibergalss , metal etc.they make a bumber repair filler that should work nicely in your case. just follow the directions on the product. let it take pleant of time to cure as to give you a nice un noticable line
