Pontiac Repair: radio, pontiac grand prix, fog lamp

first my car is a 97' pontiac grand prix and i have a after market stereo but i just got a amp for my car and i dont want to spend money to set it up but i dont  know how to get the stereo out. i know i have to take the dash board off but i dont know how to do that.  if you could tell me how to get the dash board off i can get it from there    thanks alot

Here is the step by step to remove the Instrument Cluster Trim Panel (The panel that surrounds the radio and cluster assy)
1)Disconnect the battery ground negative cable.
2)Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator.(This is the panel down by the pedals)
Remove the steering column opening filler. (This is the hard plastic panel between the panel just removed and the steering column)
Remove the knee bolster. (This is a metal plate under the opening filler)
Lower the steering column.
Grasp both sides of the bottom edge of the IP trim plate and pull out in order to release the retainer clips.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp switch.
Remove the instrument cluster trim plate from the IP.

You should then see the radio screws.

Installation is reverse of removal.
