Pontiac Repair: oil pressure and no oil to the pushrod, 455 pontiac, ahile

Hi,
I send to you a question.
I have not oil to my pushrod until my rocker arms. I have a 455 pontiac and all is new (crankshaft, camshaft, all bearing, oil pump etc... The oil pressure is good to my gauge. Can you help me. Sorry for my english becauuse i'm french and i don't speak very well english.

ok well fist off , did you just rebuild this and just start it? or has this been running for ahile and just lost oil to the lifters? if its a new rebuild you will have to leave the valve covers off and if the rocker arms are adjustable they will have to be set dry at first, pour oil down the valley to make sure the lifters arewell oiled to start pumping, if this is a motor that has just deleoped this problem then remove the valve covers and see if the holes in the push rods are filled with dryed carbon or sludge, is this on all cyl? on just a few. send me more details
