Pontiac Repair: coolant temp sensor, pontiac gran prix, coolant temp

i have a 1991 pontiac gran prix with the 3.1 liter v-6 i am trying to locate the coolant temp sensor on it i would be grateful for any help thanks mike denham

the coolant temp sensor is locaed in the water passage on the motor , i do not have a deatiled pic that i can look at.. please not that on some cars they have 2 one for the computer and 1 for the guage or light.. what we do is we go and buy a sensor, what ever one thta has fau\iled and mathc it up with the one on the car and replace it that way we know for sure, you will need to finad a componnet locating picture
