Pontiac Repair: pontiac door panels, pontiac firebird, lock switch

i own a 1992 pontiac firebird. I need to replace the power window motor. I remove the interior skin but i can't get it out of the window channel. I removed all clips, power lock switch and door handle and lock. theinside panel won't lift out of the window channel. Do i need to do something to free it up? thanks.

I am assuming the inside door panel will not release from the top of the door close to the window?
If so and everything is removed, sometimes they can be VERY stubborn to unclip out of that channel. Pull the bottom of the panel out abit and up see if that helps. If not  I hate to say get more physical with it, but sometimes thats what it takes just a bit more muscle. Straight up.  If you are in doubt, and do not want to attempt this, I would then recommend taking it somewheres and get it removed professionally. You may pay a bit, but it'll be worth it to let someone else do it.
