Pontiac Repair: O2 sensor removal, pontaic grand am, power steering pump

What is the best tool to remove the front O2 sensor on a 2000 Pontaic Grand Am 2.4 and is it hard to get to.

The front sensor (in exhaust manifold) can be got with a 7/8" Oxygen sensor socket. The wire unplugs up on top around the power steering pump.
The rear sensor in fron underside, you can get it with a 7/8" wrench or oxygen sensor socket. The wire is VERY long and unplugs on the drivers side just above the steering gear (rack and pinnion)
