94 grand am gt vin a code quad 4 could a ignition module failure cause high rpm tapping-knocking and loss of oil pressure

not ususuaal;y a ign module usually causes a mis fire or a no start or a stall    humm sounds like a lack of oil  the high rpm knocking can be a bearing failure, or starved lifter i suugest not running it untill you determine if the oil pressure is there  install a manuall check guage into the oil port and check for sure
