i have a 98 pontiac bonneville se and the key is stuck in the ignition..i have tried turning the wheel..is there anything else i can do

ok well hard to say what to do witout being there  but try this  make sure the key is in the lock positon as it is nneded to get the key out take a pair of vise grips and lock them on the key 9as to give you more pulling power)squirt the key and lock cyl with a wd 40 like substance wiggle the key and turn the wheel while someon pullss straight out on the key sometims a gentle tap with a small small hammer on the vise grip may help  hit the vise grip as to tap the key outward  do whis while jiggling the wheel and ky good luck!!!
