Pontiac Repair: tie rod, tie rod ends, inner tie rod

how to replace tie rod ends on a 1996 Pontiac grand prix inner.

Hi
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
Remove the outer tie rod end from the vehicle.
To remove the rack and pinion boot.
Slide the shock dampener back on the rack .
Remove the shock dampener  from the inner tie rod assembly .
Remove the inner tie rod assembly  from the rack assembly  as follows:
7.1.  Place a wrench on flats of rack assembly .

7.2.  Place another wrench on the flats of the inner tie rod housing .

7.3.  Rotate the inner tie rod housing counterclockwise until the inner tie rod separates from the rack .
