Pontiac Repair: engine shutdown while running on the road, engine shutdown, bonneville

Question
I was driving my 92 bonneville, after few miles it just shutdown the engine without any warning at all. The RPM will go down and just shutdown the engine. Can you tell me what is wrong with it?

does it restart right away?
does it have to cool down?
there are numerous things it can be, we have experieinced bad injectors causing the quad driver to kick out in the ecm but need more infor on what happens and would like to tell you how to test them
