Pontiac Repair: auto to manual transmission, pontiac sunfire, many different things

I have been researching and looking around at websites about how to turn my automatic 1999 pontiac sunfire 4dr 2.2l into a manual stick shift and have seen many different things in which i do not know what i need to do, they were all very vague, will i require purchasing a new transmission or certain parts or kits? I appreciate your help very much and thank you for your time.

you will require  these items , a new manual transmission, the shifter linakge, the cluch petal assembly, the new mounts for the trans , the electrical computer harness just to statr with, i strongly suggest if this is not some specail car , you will be most cost affective and money ahead to sell it and buy one with a manual trans init.if you must change it over go to the nearest salvage yard and get there prices on all of this , it will scare you to death im guessing parts alone will cost about 1200.00
