Pontiac Repair: 99 pontiac montan automatic window, brown wires, circuit breaker

Question
My passenger window will not go up pushing the button from either side. I can't hear the window motor going. I wanted to check the fuse, or relay, whichever it is that controls it, but don't know which one to check because the fuse center doesn't tell which one it is.  Can you tell me what I can do to diagnose my problem please?

Answer
Hi
The power window circuit uses a Circuit Breaker and that circuit breaker powers both Left front and right front window motor. So If the other side window works, it is NOT a power problem. You can take the right switch out and check for power on one of the brown wires should be hot. When you press the switch up the dark blue wire should get hot. When you push down the other brown wire should go hot.
If all that works OK, then you COULD remove the door panel, and make sure the window motor is recieving power on those same 2 circuits. If so, your window motor is faulty.
All that being said, if your not sure please be careful.
Also If not sure, take it to a repair shop YOUR familiar with and get them to diagnosis it.
Just advise from experience.
Good Luck
