where is the camshaft senser on a 1991 3.1liter grad prix

Hi
All the manuals I have and published books there apparently is NOT a camshaft position sensor on this engine.
According to my books, the ECM uses pulses supplied by the Ignition control module to control Fuel injector pulse. (In later models, the Cam sensor supplies the pulses for injector pulse).
Normally on a 3.1 it is located directly under the Power Steering pump on the block deck (Between the Power steering pump and lower intake manifold)
Just suggestion from experience.
