my car is miss firing, sputtering, put gas pedal
to floor and wont speed up, put gas line treatment in and ran o.k. for few minutes now is sputtering and choking.  where is fuel filter on my 94 sunbird located

The fuel filter for your sunbird is underneath the car, most likely right in front of the gas tank. It is a round metal canister. If you are going to be repairing your own car, you may want to invest in a service manual. Not only will it save you money on repair bills but it may save you from getting gas   sprayed in your eye or worse. A service manual can be bought at the auto part’s store for around $20.

  But until you get one, make sure you pull the fuse for the fuel pump, it is either in the fuse box under the hood or inside the car. You have to pull the fuse and start the car to burn up the gas in the line.  Otherwise, you might get sprayed with 40psi of gas. Start it and let it run until the engine stalls.
