Pontiac Repair: overheating, engine cooling fans, radiator fluid
QuestionI have a 1997 pontiac grand am 2.4. all of my radiator fluid is running into my floor boards causing the car to overheat, i have bypassed the heater core, but the car continues to run hot. any ideas on what may be causing this, please help.
Answeri would check the engine cooling fans for proper operation.if they are not working the engine will overheat.it is also a good idea to change the thermostat.if the thermostat is stuck closed the engine will overheat.an overheated engine will ruin a good heater core.
