Question
Hello, My lease will be up in late January. The dealer that I leased the vehicle from has been contacting me about a new vehicle. I have had dialog with him. Here is what he offered me. LMK if what you think?

The Nissan Rogue S will be 249 for 24 months, 259 for 36 months or 248 for 39 months with 1966 down the same as the last time plus motor vehicle fee. The Murano S number are 356 for 36 months or 344 for 39 months. We will make your last two payments.

Answer
I think leasing is the way to go on new cars, I presently lease a Pathfinder. I need more info from you to help you. I need to know the MSRP's, residuals, money factors, price, state, motor vehicle fees and how many miles per year. A good salesperson will give you all the info, ask them to write it all down and fax or e-mail it to you, keep everything in writing since your looking at so many options in terms and vehicles.
You should also ask the dealer to let you drive both vehicles for at least a day each. I managed a Nissan dealer here in TX and always asked the customer to drive the vehicle for a day before making a decision on a lease. Ask your salesman what is the savings between a 10k,12k and 15k miles per year lease. There can be alot of saving in residuals and money factors. Find out the difference in residuals between models (S vs a SL)on 36 mths. There should also be a rebate from Nissan since your a return customer. You can negotiate a lease just like a purchase. Dealers just want you to look a the pymt on a lease.
As soon as you send me the info I'll run it through my store here and figure it out for you. I look forward to helping you.
