Pontiac Repair: Climate control, bonneville ssei, climate control

How ya doing?  Thanks in advance for your expert assistance.

My '95 Bonneville SSEi's Climate control has lost it's frigg'n mind.  Ever since I disconnected and reconnected my battery cable the climate control temperature readout blinks for a few minutes each time I start up the engine.  

Then, in a very intermittent fashion, it will either work properly or cool me when I need heat, or, like today, blow hot air on me when I ask for cooling.

All the fuses are intact.  Any troubleshooting assistance would be appreciated.

i would try disconnecting the battery again and see if this helps.if not you can remove the control panel and check the cables and see if they are working when you change the temp settings.i would advise getting a manual and checking all connections.not sure why it would just freak out?maybe the power surged and fried it.you may be able to locate a control at a wrecking yard if it dont straighten up.
