What precautions should I take while removing and replacing a lift motor in a 97 firebird (non convertible )?

Hi, take the neg cable a loose on the battery, make sure all the scerws are out of the door panel, the window should be up when removing the motor. you will need some tape to hold the window up, duct tape is good for this. And the big percautions is don't break the window.
