Pontiac Repair: wont fire, crank sensor, cutlass supreme

Question
Hi, my name is Ricki. I know this is not a pontiac.but these 2 cars are similar under the hood. I have a 89 cutlass supreme which had a 2.8L MPFI  the engine blown and i bought a 92 beretta with a 3.1L MPFI. we hooked er up but she didnt have an exhaust on her. so we had to make sure it started so we tried.it fired. after the 1st 2 or 3 times of it firing it got cold outside and we didnt work on it much. well, now we got the exhaust on it and tried to start it. all it does is turn and turn and turn.a couple of times you can hear a sputter like its gunna start...but it never does. I checked the spark plugs, cleaned them, made sure the computer reset(i think by removing power for 1 hr)I took the pleneum off to make sure the gasket was in there correctly.it has gas.though there are about 3or 4 wires from the harness that we cannot identify...the car fired before and now it wont...even now that it has an exhaust...so i have no idea...i am stumped...hopefully you can help me.

Answer
Hi, disconnect any injector lead, and install an injector test light, if necessary crank the engine and observe the light, if the light is on all the time, the ECM is probably faulty, if the light blinks the ECM is ok, then check the crank sensor if this is ok, it would be the ignition module. But frist check all fuses.
