Pontiac Repair: doors wont shut, pontiac grand prix, latch

This morning I started my 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix and when trying to close the door, it wouldn't shut.  I tried locking it and unlocking it and nothing happened.  Then I tried locking and unlocking it manually and still nothting.  I was looking at the passenger side door to see if there was any difference, and now that door won't shut.  What is going on?  And how, if possible, can I fix it?  Thanks for you time.

take a screwdriver and see can you turn the latch up or down. If it don't move then pull the door handel to opne and  hold the handel and try to move the latch. If this don't work then you will have to replace the latch. It is up to you if you want to try to fix it or not.
