I need to purchase a rebuilt or used motor for a 1998 pontiac bonneville se.. How do i do so ? series 3800

Hi, are you going to do the work? If you are going to let repair shop do this,they can get the motor for you.
Now if you going to buy it. what to look for in a used motor has low mileage no bad oil leaks, that would be oil all over the engine, cover in dirt. check the dipstick make sure it is not rusty, this would be from water getting to the engine. you can buy the engine from a used parts hose.
A new engine you get from a auto parts, like NAPA.OR AUTO ZONE.
