where is the heater control valve on a 1997 pontiac tran sport

HI, it dont have a valve. it has a door that opens an closes. close for the a/c to work. then open so the heat well work. this works with the temperatuer control. theres a cable that is connected to the temperature control. so when you push it to the right it well open the door for the heat. pull it back to close it.for the a/c.
