Porsche Repair: 86 944 Porsche wont start, spark plug wires, engine cranks

Question
My 944 Porsche was working fine, then one day,it just won't start.Engine cranks, but no start. I checked the fuel line
and uncovered the cap to the fuel line that goes to the injectors and gasoline came out. I open the fuel relay and I can see it moving. I checked the wire from the coil with screwdriver and there was a spark. I then checked all four spark plug wires and one spark from one only. What's wrong.
Battery is good.
when crank tach needle bounces.
Checked timing belt OK.
inspected the cap thoroughly and rotor.
Tried starting fluid in the intake to rule
out a fuel quality problem, but no start.
Any other ideas..thanks for your help in advance.
Why am I only getting spark from one spark plug?
Does Porsche have a pickup coil in distributor or
ignition coil?

Answer
Almost sounds like the rotor is providing power to one contact on the cap.  And I assume you checked that the cap is sitting flush.

Have you removed the cap and checked the rotor more closely, wiggle it, observe it rotating with the cap off; how is it attached, screws?
