RV Repair: RV slide out, tension cables, trail sport

Question
I have a trail sport 27qbss, the slide out is dragging the floor inside.  can I just cut the bottom of the cabinet to keep it from dragging?

I suppose you could do that but I would not.  I would see if the tension cables need tightening.  these are supposed to come down from your ceiling and put a load bearing tension on the room so it wont slide in out of align.  google the procedure, or maybe a youtube vid on how to do it.
