RV Repair: Gas Furnance, gas furnance, pilot light

Question
The Terralab Engineer Furnace will blow air but i am not sure how the to light the pilot light or if it is suppose to automatically light.

I turned on the propane and turned up the thermostat but nothing but cold air blew out.  Any suggestions?

Answer
It sometimes takes a while for the Propane to fill the lines.  Maybe light a couple of burners on the stove.  this will get the gas flowing.

The pilot should light automatically.  Is the thermostat set to be warmer than the temperature inside the camper?  It is possible the auto igniter is not working.  You want to listen for the ticking.

Here is how it works.  AT first, you turn on the furnace.  It will blow just air for a few seconds, maybe a minute.  That is to purge any stray fumes from the area.  then you will hear the ticking of the auto igniter and the sound of propane flowing.
