RV Repair: Mounting a flat panel television in a travel trailer, dutchmen travel trailer, window frame

Question
I have a 38' Dutchmen travel trailer. I would like to mount a 19" LED television on the wall in the bedroom (currently there is a folding shelf for a TV below a window). How do I find a stud to mount the television mount to? How thick are the studs? Are they metal or wood? Can I use standard articulating wall mount or is there a specific mount I need to use? What else do I need to know to insure that the mount will be safe?

Answer
You will find these walls are not made for that type of mounting.  As you go down the road, the bouncing and jarring will want to rip this out of the wall.  The window frame is a good solid place but you won't want this tv in your window.  I would think about making a frame on the wall, decorative as you would like.  use some 1 x 6, or T-11, or some other type of sheeting or boards that can make a nice frame behind the TV.  Install this frame on the outside of the wall and mount to that.
