RV Repair: camper, fuse panel, fuse box

Question
i have a 93 dutchmen 18 foot camper we just bought it and ran the air conditioner and lost power to all the outlets, plugins where is the fuse box located if that is even the problem

Answer
Were you plugged into an outlet on the house?  If so, make sure that outlet didn't trip a breaker.  If not, did you use an extension cord to plug it in?  Was the cord rated for enough power to run everything.  Is the outlet on the house damaged?

The AC requires 30A circuit, the house at best has only 20A.  More often the house is on Romex 14ga wire; which means 15A.  That is enough to run your RV's lights and fridge, but will overload if AC is on.  If it doesn't trip the circuit on the house, the cord may burn out; if you use a regular extension cord.

Do you have a DVOM meter?  They are available at tool stores like True Value for under $10.  Good to have.  Get one and set it for 120V.  Check the power at the outlet where you plug in.  Then check it at an outlet in the camper.  Trace the circuitry until you find where the 120V ends

The main fuse panel should be the other end of the cord you plug into the outlet at the campground.  So it is going to be near that cord.
