RV Repair: 1995 flagstaff tent trailer water heater, hot water tank, pilot tube

Would you please tell me how to heat water in my tent trailer?  Thanks, bill

When you hook up the hose to the camper, the hot water tank sould automatically fill.  If not, you may have a valve you need to open.  Look under a seat cushion at the piping.  

Open the water heater access door. This is outside the camper, on the side opposite the entry door.  Check for spiders and other pluggage in the pilot tube.  

Open the gas valve like the pilot is lit.  you need to open your propane and let the lines fill...maybe about 10 minutes.  

Turn off the gas valve and wait for 10 minutes for any propane fumes to leave the area.  

Turn the gas valve to the Pilot position and light the pilot.  You may have to hold the black button down.  Once lit, release the black button and turn to the ON position.
