RV Repair: Generator, cable issues, generator fuel

Question
Not getting enough power to generator fuel pump. It will run if hot wire the fuel pump. Could it be the solenoid or battery cable issues

Could be corroded connections.  Without seeing your circuit I don't know what all is inline between the fuel pump and power source.  If you have a switch, that could be bad or corroded.  If you have a fuse, that could be corroded.  It may be worth while to run a new circuit to the fuel pump...like hot wire, but permanent...with a new switch and fuse.  

If you don't want to run a new circuit, and you have a Volt Meter, you can check the power supply to the pump.  Then trace it back until you find the problem.
