RV Repair: AC 1999 Salem Lite, duo therm, capacitor

I have a duo-therm Model # 57915.522c1 that starts but does not stay running. I originally was told a run capacitor but then was told that the cylinder would then be cracked and had honey substance leaking from it.

How long will it run?  

possible you have a bad motor.  the internal overloads kick out, then after a while they reset and works again until the next time.

Possible you have a problem with coolant pressure.  if too much or too little pressure, the system may kick out.

Possible the run cap is bad, though it is not leaking.
