QUESTION: Its a Dometic 2611 in a 1994 Fleetwood motorhome. I did see a 3 amp fuse blown but this has been an ongoing issue. I wish I knew of a new fridge that would fit in its place but it seems ashame to do this for an AC problem. I know you have the knowledge to corect this and Im so grateful for your help. Im telling everyone about this site. Its amazing. I dont need privacy. I wish I was there Id just have you fix it.I changed a board many years ago. Even on gas the freezer is extremely frozen but it doesnt translate well to the refridgerater. If the fuse is changed and the unit still wont work on cold what can remedy this? I do believe the fuse is for the 12 volt panel and not the electric. Thankyou ever so much. Mike McGibbon

Answer
If you fixed the fuse but stil no electric you need to chandge the heat element in it. ( most likely). The cold transfer tell me that the cooling unit might be getting plugged up. Noracold has a web site that will tell u what will fit and you can order it

Thanks and good luck
