RV Repair: Wedgewood oven wont light?, rv services, pilot light

Question
I have a 1983 Chevy Citation. It has a Wedgewood oven/stove. The burners on top work fine. The oven wont light. I can get the pilot light on and stay lit but when I turn the oven temp nob to light the oven it wont. I have tried to hold a lighter to the burner with the gas on in hopes it will light but dosent. I have taken my rv to 2 rv services places and they dont know how to fix it. Should I buy a new oven or is this something than can be fixed?

Their is a chance it could be fix what you need is a new oven control valve. at that age you may not beable to get the parts call asi @1-800-826-5045 give them the model of the stove and they can tell you if parts are still in use
