RV Repair: Leaking window, RV leaking window

Question
Shawn: I have a 2000 Crossroads American Prep 28' trailer and large bedroom window seems to be leaking. Is this hard to fix myself. I was told that I could undo the screws from the inside, push window out and then use putty tape to reseal, then caulk on the outside part. I notice the outside has a rubber seam around it ? Also,, will the screws come out easily or do I need a high power tool. I have been quoted $ 150.00 to fix. Would love to save money, but I'm not the best at handy work. Not bad, just not great. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hi Johnny,
It is not a hard job but it's a little time consuming. It really time consuming if you don't have at lest a 14 volt screw gun. Be carful not to tear the seal while removing. You will also want a friend to help remove it because you can easily drop the window. $150.00 is not a bad price for this repair. You can do it!!! Good luck.
