2001 cardinal 5th wheel  Water damage to left rear bottom corner and bottom rear of back panel. veneer all rotten. skin is good. what is the best way to replace veneer?Do I cut skin glue new wood onto skin then put back on ? Also where can I buy new skin if I make a mistake?

Hi Dave,
 New Skin may be available and it may not. I would get it from the factory. But, with manufactures closing left and right, its hard to say if you can get new skin. I am sure someone makes it but finding it may be hard. I would check availability before starting the job. Gluing it back together with contact cement would work and seal the seams with silicone.
