RV Repair: thermostat adjustment and refrig not working, atwood water heater, time kenny

i have an atwood water heater model #GC6 AA -9E and would like to adjust thermostat to a hotter temp. how is this done?    also my son has a camper w dometic refrig. that does not work. have checked fuses and breakers. all lights come on and the tube outside heats up. can you help w/ some suggestions? thanks for your time, kenny!

Kenneth, Atwood in fact makes 2 different temperature T-Stats. You should be able to get one at a local dealer. I know that alot of them don't like to deal with these things but they are available. As for your son's refer. If it is getting hot outside in the tubes and not getting cold inside then it sounds to me like it is the cooling unit that has failed. You will need to replace it with either a new or rebuilt cooling unit. If you want recommendations as to where to do this let me know and I will give you suggestions. Thanks, Bill
Kenneth, There is no way to adjust the thermostat and you will need to replace it if you want hotter water. They are easy to replace and to purchase as long as you go somewhere that they will get it for you. Thanks, Bill
