RV Repair: awning rail repair, rv store, carefree spirit

I need to locate replace the fabric on my awning and I need to straighten the awning rail that is attached to the trailer out in a spot.  Where can I locate an awning rail seperator or a tool to do this with. Thanks.

Kathy, To get the fabric you need to go to a shop and order one. Measure the length from center to center of the rails. It should come out to an even measurement as to so many feet. I would get a Carefree universal canvas as they seem to be the less expensive one these days. As for the awning arm, well good luck trying to straighten it out. The best thing you can do is to replace what parts of the arm you need. These can also be bought at a rv store or shop. You will need to know make and if possible the model of the awning. This is usually right on the front of the arm, like AE 8500 or Carefree Spirit or some one like those. I hope this helps, Bill
